先入冥关不尽人，竟无一语报交亲。
悬知我辈终须到，再若相逢可有因？
注：○交亲：戚友也。赵晔 《吴越春秋·阖闾内传》：“吴不信前日之盟，弃贡赐之国而灭其交亲。”○悬知：料知也。庾信《和赵王看伎》：“悬知曲不误，无事畏周郎。”
Strange, is it not ? that of the myriads who
Before us pass'd the door of Darkness through,
Not one returns to tell us of the Road,
Which to discover we must travel too.
