波斯短歌行译笺 其九
若言日日有花红，谁见年年花尽同？
君看门前春水涨，浪花淘尽古英雄。

注：○年年花：刘希夷《代悲白头翁》：“年年岁岁花相似，岁岁年年人不同。”相似耳，是不尽同也。○浪花句：杨慎《临江仙》：“滚滚长江东逝水，浪花淘尽英雄。”盖用苏轼《念奴娇·赤壁怀古》：“大江东去，浪淘尽、千古风流人物。”古英雄，即原文之Jamshyd与Kaikobád，皆古波斯王也。原文“初夏之月，带得蔷薇开也，又将彼王去也。”译文以春花、春水关联，暗点此意。
