曰俭曰奢徒费吟，一朝身死总消沉。
江头谁问怀沙恨？淘尽江沙只见金。

注：○曰俭曰奢：李商隐《咏史》：“历览前贤国与家，成由勤俭破由奢。”○怀沙：《史记·屈原贾生列传》：“（屈原）作《怀沙》之赋。于是怀石，遂自投汨罗以死。”○原文云：“吝之者金视其谷，挥之者若风吹雨散。若辈皆不能如金沙，一朝沉埋，无复出矣。”译文后二句，遐出感慨。
